Returns and Right of Withdrawal

We want you to be happy with your order. Please register a return before sending it back by emailing maku.kids@gmx.ch.

Orders in Switzerland

MAKU KiDS voluntarily grants a 14-day return period from receipt of the goods. The goods must be clean, undamaged and handled only to the extent necessary to inspect them as would be possible in a retail store.

Orders in the European Union

Consumers in the European Union may withdraw from their contractual declaration within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. A clear notice by email to maku.kids@gmx.ch is sufficient. After withdrawal, the goods must be returned within 14 days.

Return Shipping Costs

The direct costs of a voluntary return or withdrawal are borne by the customer. In the event of a product defect, incorrect delivery or another error for which MAKU KiDS is responsible, MAKU KiDS will cover the necessary return shipping costs.

Refunds

Once the return has been received and inspected, the refund will be made using the original payment method. For voluntary returns from Switzerland, the value of the goods will be refunded; original shipping costs are not refunded. In the case of a statutory withdrawal in the EU, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered will also be refunded in accordance with the law. We may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or proof of shipment has been provided.

A reasonable deduction may be made for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Missing or damaged original packaging does not automatically exclude statutory rights.

Defects or Incorrect Deliveries

Please contact us as soon as possible at maku.kids@gmx.ch and, if possible, send photos of the item and packaging. We will get back to you with the next steps.
